Knowleable, prompt treatment - Dr. Kaswinkel tremendously helped my husband when a clot in his retina caused loss of sight in one eye.He was knowledgeable and professional.I have no time for reviews harping on doctors chairside manner. Doctor said can have good days and bad days just the same as anyone else. Do you want an extremely competent doctor or do you want a buddy? A doctor with absolutely no bedside manner whatsoever once saved my life. But it was his lack of bedside manner that allowed him to bark at other medical staff and get me attention more promptly..I’ll take skills over bedside manner every single time.Another thing if you’re going to leave a review have the guts to leave your name. A lot of anonymous reviews are posted by the same same person with an axe to grind. More

I have diabetes and want to keep a careful watch on my eyes and any changes. They give a thorough examination and explain things well. I can even get an updated prescription for my glasses if I need it. I have been getting my eyes checked here for 6 or 7 years and am still happy to return. I see Dr Kaswinkel. More

Dr. Erdey is the best around. I've had two cornea transplants and had major difficulty of infection with one eye. Dr. Erdey & Dr. Kaswinkel came together and got me through with their years of experience and patience. I don't have any issues getting in to see the doctors. Dr. Kaswinkel has been my eye doctor for a number of years. When it came time to deal with my cataracts I knew I’d be in great hands. He is extremely professional and explained everything I needed to know. I had lost the ability to see color clearly and Dr. Kaswinkel knew how much this bothered me. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kaswinkel for 4 years and recently had cataract surgery on both eyes. I’m an interior designer and color work is very important to my craft. My vision was deteriorating especially in the ability to see colors as they truly are. I felt desperate and shared my concerns with Dr. Kaswinkel. I have had several visits to the Erdey Searchy Eye Group. The office, restrooms and examining rooms are immaculate. There are controls in place to address the impact of the corona virus. The staff is caring and well informed. Dr. Kasiwinkle treats patients as partners and provides information about treatment plans and prescriptions in a thoughtful and respectful manner. I would recommend this practice to anyone. The nurse manager is quick to return phone calls and ensures that prescriptions and refills are timely and accurate. Because of my immune disorders , I see three other medical practices. I always have to follow up with prescriptions and refills, but never at Erdey Searchy Eye Group. It is helpful to know that the nurse there keeps up with medicines and referrals and I do not have to. I just wish their practice treated more areas than eyes! More

Being in the optical business for 55 years as a licensed optician, dealing with cataract surgery was not new to me. However this time, I was the patient. My time with Dr. Kaswinkel and his staff set me at ease. He offered Restor multifocal implants that allow me to see without glasses at all, for distance and near. This was one of the easiest surgeries I have ever had and the outcome has been perfect. There was no pain. With the new DROPLESS surgery, I did not have to put drops in for a month and pay that expense of buying them either. I would recommend Dr. Kaswinkel and these lenses to anyone! More

I was 3 weeks from my 75th birthday and due to renew my driver's license. I have ahd my entire life use of one eye only. I had cataracts in both eyes and was very hesitant and scared to have them removed for fear of having my sight compromised to where I could not see or pass my license test.I was able to pass the license test with a major restriction of no night time driving. This was devastating and I immediately contacted my eye doctor who went through the process to remove the cataracts.I now have a license that includes night driving. This was critical for may reasons but especially for me to continue taking my wife out to dinner and not have to worry about time.I'm also an avid sports fan who could not read the time clock, 35 second clock, or scrolling across the bottom of my 47 inch screenof current game scores and breaking news in sports. I now can see and read them without glasses. How exciting. I am so elated. More
