I first became acquainted with Dr. Searcy over ten years ago when he removed my cataracts and implanted corrective lenses in both eyes. Now, at 72 years old, I still have 20/20 vision. In addition, by using a laser procedure he has kept my eye pressure under control without the need for eye drops. If that were not enough, he has never failed to greet me with a smile and a handshake. While living in California I was being treated for Glaucoma for two years (daily drops that caused me much discomfort). After years of taking eye drops for glaucoma without improvement to my pressure levels, my ophthalmologist sent me to Dr. Searcy for further testing. A member of Dr. Searcy's group discovered that I actually did not have glaucoma, but have bilateral optic nerve drusen instead. More
